Much refreshed after a well needed good night’s sleep, we had a very civilised breakfast and then headed off to Berchtesgaden, just over the border in Germany, to the salt mine. A train ride and two slides later we had learnt lots of interesting stuff about salt! After an al fresco lunch under the shade of the trees, we then travelled to the bottom of the Jenner (mountain). We enjoyed a very serene journey in the cable car up the mountain, enjoying the amazing scenery and listening to the cow bells! Everyone had a fab time. Tea tonight was an indoor barbecue in the new building, which was delicious and very meaty! After tea, lots of work was done in our workbooks about the things we have seen and done. Trampolining and swimming next ‘til bed...phew!
